“Hemington Primary School is a friendly place. It is a small school that makes every child feel special. The place is vibrant with creativity and yet the teachers always ask the children to just go that little bit further in reading, writing and maths. The place is the heart of the community with clubs ranging from cookery to gardening to film studies running every day after school. There’s a conservation area and a Woodland Nurture Group that really brings out the best in the kids. And that’s not all…the parents feel included as well.”

The Hemington Friends Association are brilliant! They are a group of parents who regularly meet to raise funds for the school. Get involved by going along to their meetings or just turn up for the events. They have a Facebook page so you can get the latest updates.
Our school uniform can now be ordered by parents online by visiting our page on the SchoolwearForLess website. You can still order through school, but prices are slightly higher to cover administrative costs.
The National Trust have put together a list of things that children should do before they are 11 and a bit. It’s a great list and well worth looking at for ideas. Sign up at the website.
