Next week is Book Week and to help with activities at school, we would be grateful if parents could bring in any shoe boxes or any box of similar size. On Thursday 1st March, World Book Day, we would like all the children to dress up as their favourite book character (preferably with a copy of the book concerned). In the evening at 6pm we will be holding one of our most popular annual events, Bedtime Stories. Children aged 3-11, whether they attend school or not, are invited to join us in their dressing gowns for stories, hot chocolate and …….books. Hunting Raven Bookshop will provide an opportunity to use your World Book Day Tokens at this event.
Scholastic Book Club
The latest Scholastic book club magazine will be sent out shortly and this is a great way for the school to benefit as 20% of the total order value can be used for the school to purchase books. You can also use your World Book Day Tokens to purchase any books you order. Please let us have any orders by Monday 12th March.
Junk Modelling Material
As well as shoe boxes for book week we would also welcome any other recycling material you may have at home such as yoghurt pots, cereal boxes, kitchen rolls, etc, that the children can use to make models. Unfortunately, we cannot use empty toilet rolls.
The school is being visited by Chris James of Voice Adventure on Wednesday 29th February. Please read the attached flyer for more information.

Sainsburys Active Kids
The school are currently collecting the sainsburys active kids vouchers and the collection box can be found in the hall. These vouchers help provide the school with new equipment and resources.
